He now exercises twice a week; which is helping him to practice healthy lifestyle choices. LinGroup matched Kevin with staff who see his potential, his strengths and his charms! They allow him to grow independently while still providing him the home and community habilitation supports he needs. "My husband and I are in our 80's and still have our 55 year old intellectually disabled son living with us. Before LinGroup, his social activities were very limited, he communicated very little, and never initiated conversation. Since joining LinGroup, he has become involved in Special Olympics, also enjoys going to movies, bowling, playing Putt-Putt and going to dinner with the group. LinGroup has helped him connect with people and learn to initiate conversation with others. Linda has also helped him learn to use a cell phone and manage his money. They have been outstanding, providing services and helping Mickey & Cheryl during the last year. Even though they have been providing services for several years, this past year was a difficult one.

"We have been involved with LinGroup for our daughter for close to 4 years. We have found all the employees to be very kind and respectful of the clients. When Jennie was going out with the support person, they did several fun activities. Sometimes they would meet up with other clients and enjoy a day at the park with lunch outside. When Covid hit, Jennie was able to participate with Zoom meetings. Now that we are back to going out into the community, Jennie again is enjoying meeting up with other individuals she enjoys going out with. We are very happy with LinGroup."
